Tax Advisory and Planning
Our Tax Advisory & Planning Principles
We do not promote artificial tax planning structures. We do assist our clients with planning their tax affairs in relation to their business and commercial transactions. We do not support tax planning that appears highly contrived or artificial.
We believe in full disclosure and transparency over our clients’ and our own tax positions. Our tax advice will always assume full disclosure of the facts to the tax authorities and will not rely on the client winning an “audit lottery”.
We only advise clients on tax arrangements where we have a high degree of confidence that our view is correct and would prevail in audit and/or court. It is impossible to entirely predict the interpretations that the tax authorities and the Courts will make, and we will therefore make our clients aware of risks as part of our advice.

Continuing Education
In order to support our clients in achieving tax compliance and the best possible outcome we listen and adapt. We listen to our clients when they enlist our help with various tax related situations. We listen to reports as trends are identified by our staff relative to specific tax issues. We listen to the leaders in the tax environment and tap in to current legal and regulatory updates and guidance.
We then interpret and share our insights with clients in a variety of ways, through our monthly e-newslettter, our weekly tax-tips and telephone conferences and webinars, on-site education programs, and where applicable, public forums for presentations. We want our clients to be fast, adaptive and compliant while dealing with the current cumbersome tax environment. Ongoing relevant and adaptive education results in our clienst as well as our company being in compliance with IRS rules, regulations and guidelines. Helping our clients stay in compliance results in avoiding legal and financial trouble in the future.
